Information in this area has been developed for plastic surgeons to provide you with information on the benefits of joining ASPS. 

Member benefits include:

Advocacy - A wide-ranging effort on issues including Medicare payment and scope of practice, cosmetic surgery and public safety, and delivering plastic surgery's message to government, consumers and organised medicine.

The ASPS website - Accessed by a growing number of people every year who are interested in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and search for an ASPS FRACS-qualified plastic surgeon via the Find an ASPS Member Surgeon online feature.

Media and marketing support - Use of the ASPS Member Logo to promote your ASPS membership on your practice’s marketing materials, and assistance with publicity and managing the media.

Newsletter - Find out what the Society is doing for you and stay in touch with other areas of the specialty via the ASPS newsletter, delivered to members quarterly.

ASPS information hotline and state membership lists – Accessed by consumers in search of a qualified plastic surgeon.

The opportunity to join the American Society of Plastic Surgeons through a special pathway made possible by an agreement between the Australian and American Societies.

ASPS Council - Members are eligible to hold office and serve on committees.
