Medical Advertising Guidelines

There are several agencies in Australia that govern advertising of medical products and services. These organisations and regulatory bodies include (but are not limited to):

The Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

The Australian Medical Council (AMC).

Additionally, the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) (ASPS members are Fellows of RACS) has a Code of Conduct, and the ASPS has developed a Code of Practice that is endorsed by the RACS.
